I know I abandoned this journal long ago cos of stalkers.
However, it's just come to my attention that a friend of a MAIN stalker/harasser is was on my friends list. I'd like to believe it was a completely random, innocent thing. But being that this chick has gone from stalking good friends of mine to harassing me and hacking into my email/website, I can't take any chances.
I'm sorry, shakerhyde, but even though I no longer keep up with this journal, I'm not letting you - or her - read my private entries. Like I said above, I'd like to think you found me on your own and didn't know this chick was harassing me. But if you DID know and were perpetuating her delusions and insane, fanatical actions then karma's really gonna get you.
To anyone else reading this journal, don't EVER try anything like that or you'll be sorry.

4:42 am - The brilliance that is Neil
|
|
Shadow wondered which of Odin's ravens this was: Huginn or Muninn, Memory or Thought... he paused. Regrouped. He was cold, standing in a wood, talking to a big black bird who was currently brunching on Bambi...
The raven flew up and away... cawed from the edge of the clearing.
"You want me to follow you?" asked Shadow. "Or has Timmy fallen down another well?" The bird cawed again, impatiently. Shadow started walking toward it...
"Hey," said Shadow. "Hunginn or Muninn, or whoever you are."
The bird turned, head tipped, suspiciously, on one side, and it stared at him with bright eyes.
"Say 'Nevermore,'" said Shadow.
"Fuck you," said the raven. It said nothing else as they went through the woodland together.
*******************
People believe, thought Shadow. It's what people do. They believe. And then they will not take responsibility for their beliefs; they conjure things, and do not trust the conjurations. People populate the darkness; with ghosts, with gods, with electrons, with tales. People imagine, and people believe: and it is that belief, that rock-solid belief, that makes things happen.

And will LJ suspend my account for posting this?
Go ahead, Bitch, try it.

Samanantha, you need to get you an LJ account cos I need to disable anonymous posting and make most of my posts here friends-only.
Just a note to anyone thinking of posting anonymously here: IDENTIFY YOURSELF or I WILL make everything here friends-only. Stalkers = uncool.
Edit: On the same note, If you've decided to unfriend me on LJ, stop fucking reading my journal.

texasfanboy, thanks for guilting me into going to karaoke. Even though I sucked, it was fun. And I got another beer glass out of it. I've turned into such a klepto. LOL
Tonight my ego was boosted muchly. When we walked into the bar I was accosted by some guy playing pool. "You're Chris Taylor!" I recognised him as the KJ who hosted the fixed karaoke contest that Kelly and I had participated in. The guy proceeds to tell me how pissed he was that I didn't make it into the finals and how I would've gotten 1st or 2nd place in the contest. Apparently, he pled his case to the "judges" and was going to give me a special invite to the finals... but he didn't have my contact info. He said he searched for me at the contest the next week. But yeah, he went on for, like, 10 minutes about how he was really upset that I didn't make it and how I would've won. "And you sang Queen! No one sings Queen!" It really made me feel good... despite the fact that my voice is going and tonight was pretty bad. But I've discovered I can sing Jefferson Airplane songs really well. Ya, gimme the impossible songs to sing and I ace 'em, but the "regular" ones I can't do with a sore throat.
Oh! Oh! And they had ERASURE!!! If you don't already know, I ADORE this band. So I sang "Chains of Love."
Dinner with Kit and Derek is Wednesday night instead. What kind of wine goes with pasta? Cos the alcoholic in me is gonna bring wine. Sorry, I meant lush - alcoholics go to meetings. (No offense to anyone who is or who has alcoholics in their family)
I should prolly attempt to sleep and get in to work early tomorrow. Today's attempt was pathetic.
Oh, btw, shout-out to unclejustin: YOU SUCK!
*giggles* I thought you'd appreciate that.
P.S. You're coming drinking with us this weekend. :oÞ

IT'S SNOWING!!! GODDAMNIT! This shit is actually sticking, too. *sighs* It's quite amusing, however, to see all the posts in austincommunity by these awe-struck Texans who hardly see the fluffy white stuff (snow, I mean). And a li'l while ago there were people playing in the 'courtyard' of my apartment complex. I wonder if this'll keep up. I certainly hope not. :o\

And for Christssake, please tell me the snow forecast for tomorrow is a joke. This is TEXAS for crying out loud! It doesn't snow in Texas (well, at least not in Austin). Why do you think I moved here?
